Wild Rift esports is coming to NA – $50,000 prize pool revealed

Good news for Wild Rift players residing in North America, as the esports scene seems to be starting up there as well with the Summoner Series.

The Wild Rift: Summoner Series is setting the stage for the Wild Rift esports scene over in North America in a collaboration between Nerd Street, Wisdom Games and Riot Games. Teams won’t have to play for nothing, as there’s a total prize pool of $50,000 provided. There’ll be three different circuits, with the best teams out of each circuit pushing through to the regional championship.

Each circuit has two open qualifiers. In the first circuit the four best teams qualify for the Major during the Open Qualifiers, where there’s a prize pool of $5,000. The four best-performing teams at the Major will also score a qualification to the second Major, with Open Qualifiers shifting to the two best teams qualifying for the Major. After the circuits are completed, the 8 teams who qualified for the NA Regional Championship will be battling it out for a $35,000 prize pool.

For those interested in participating, the first Open Qualifier will run from 26 to 27 July, the second one from August 2 to August 3. The first Major is set from August 7 to August 8. For more information, you can visit the Nerdstreet website, where you’ll also find instructions on how to participate.
