Hunt went on to post a little statement talking about her time at Activision Blizzard and her decision to leave. “After more than three years at Blizzard Entertainment, I have decided to move on to my next adventure. Friday was my last day. The past three years have been full of unexpected twists and turns, but I feel honored to have worked with and met so many great people at Blizzard and across the Activision Blizzard businesses. I’ll be taking a short break before making my next move.”
Activision Blizzard surely had their share of trouble when it comes to the legal department in recent months, as only yesterday it was announced that the SEC will start an investigation into Activision Blizzard. Of course everything started with the initial lawsuit, which alleges that Activision Blizzard enables a toxic environment in the workplace which runs rampant with sexism, gender inequality and inappropriate behaviour.
Claire Hunt isn’t the only employee to leave the company, as earlier on the Head of Global Human Resources, Jesse Meschuk, also left, just like president J. Allen Brack. Multiple developers are also no longer with the company, but the nature of their departure isn’t clear, meaning it’s not certain if they left voluntarily or were fired.
