Former Blizzard employees detail the infamous ‘Cosby Suite’
As new information has come out in regards to the Activision Blizzard lawsuit, Blizzard employees have now shared more details about the ‘Cosby Suite’.
Following reports by Kotaku, The ‘Cosby Suite’ was apparently a hotel room at BlizzCon 2013 which featured a portrait of the actor, but was also a place where the former creative director of World of Warcraft, Alex Afrasiabi, would often reside. According to Blizzard employees the room was filled with alcohol. In a facebook post former designer at Blizzard David Kosak talked about “Gathering the hot chixx for the Coz.”

The nature of the name of the suite is debated. One of the former employees apparently told Kotaku that the suite itself was named after the ugly sweaters worn by Bill Cosby, with it not being sexual, while others point out Cosby had already faced accusations of sexual assault by then and that the name was a reference to him.
Alongside the name of the suite itself, multiple facebook pictures and conversations have surfaced which prove that the suite existed, with some calling themselves the “BlizzCon Cosby Crew”. The facebook posts feature multiple comments of a sexual nature made by (former) Blizzard developers. Afrasiabi himself is no longer with the company, Activision Blizzard revealed to Kotaku.
