Things are seemingly going from bad to worse for Blizzard, who now also face a shareholder suit while the head of HR departs the company.
After reports that CEO J. Allen Brack will be leaving the company, Blizzard has now also announced that their senior vice president of HR Jesse Meschuk is no longer with the company. Blizzard didn’t provide any other information about the departure of Meschuk, but it’s likely tied to the current lawsuit they’re facing, as their HR department has come under fire.

Aside from Meschuk leaving, Blizzard is now also facing an additional lawsuit coming from the Activision Blizzard shareholders. In the suit (seeking class action status) it’s claimed that due to neglect and oversight by the leaders of the company the shares of the company have lost a lot of value, seeking damages. When it comes to the stock of Activision Blizzard, it’s been on the decline ever since June 21, when it became known that the company was sued the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
In the lawsuit the CEO Bobby Kotick, CFO Dennis Durkin and the former CFO Spencer Neumann are named as defendants alongside Activision Blizzard. Activision Blizzard have also faced criticism in regards to how they handle the lawsuit, with their first statement being called ‘tone-deaf’.
