Wild Rift coming to Europe in December

Mobile fans rejoice, League of Legends: Wild Rift will be headed to more regions including Europe in December. American fans will need to be patient until Spring 2021.

In a developer diary Riot Games announced the launch of the open beta for several regions on October 27. Access to the open beta will be granted to South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

Michael “Paladin” Chow, executive producer for Wild Rift, also announced that they are planning to launch the mobile game in Europe, Taiwan, Oceania and Vietnam in December of this year. Fans in the Americas will need to be patient a bit longer as their region is scheduled to go live in the spring of 2021.

In their ongoing effort to bring in more champions to the mobile version, Riot has also announced the addition of Lee Sin to the roster for the upcoming patch. The next update will also feature 6 previews of other champions including Kai’Sa, Akali, Seraphine and more.

With this schedule in place Riot’s aim to roll out Wild Rift around the globe in 2021 is looking to be well on track.
