Call of Duty Season 3 Patch Notes – Roze Skin and Weapons adjusted

UPDATE: The official patch notes are out now and Raven Software has implemented quite a few changes to Call of Duty.

Weapon Adjustments:

The main focus for this patch was spent on assualt rifles. The Krig 6 and the QBZ-83 were the beneficiaries of buffs in the new patch. While the FFAR 1 and Groza were nerfed to bring them more in line with other weaponry. The developers also adjusted the Cold War AK-47 and the FARA 83 to give them more clearly defined roles in the arsenal.

Other weaponry that was adjusted were the SMGs LC10 and Mac-10 as well as the Pelington 703 sniper. Tactical Rifles got hit by nerfs as the M16 and the Cold War Tacitcal Rifle Charlie were both weakened.

Original article from April 19th below:

Prior to the large gamechanging event on April 21st Raven has already given us the first Patch Notes for the upcoming update.

The fix for the Roze skin will be welcome news to players that have been unable to spot players using it. But there are more changes headed our way in Season 3: The AUG (Tac Rifle Charlie), M16 and FFAR 1 as well as the Pistol Sykov will also be adjusted. The Sykov was just introduced last week but already made waves with high fire rate and low Time-to-Kill. Unsurprisingly Raven Software will most likely tuneit down a bit following the community’s reaction.

Those weapons are among the most popular ones in Warzone and while concrete changes were not announced, nerfs are much more likely than buffs. The developers also announced adjustments of Perks for Modern Warfare weapons. Another aspect that will be changed is the missing “glint” of several sniper rifles.

Killstreak reward RC-XD will most likely also be harder to obtain in the future as Raven Software has said that they will take another look at it. Although they revealed some of the changes now, the developers told their fans to keep their eyes open for a big surprise come April 21st.
