VALORANT: What to expect from Episode 2

On January 12, VALORANT players will finally be able to get their hands on the new content of episode 2, which most notably features a brand new agent in the form of Yoru. He was recently shown off in a brand new cinematic trailer.
New agent and release date

First and foremost, the release of Yoru is probably the biggest update to the game coming in Episode 2. We’ve already covered everything you need to know about him in an earlier article. Players will be able to play VALORANT Episode 2 Act 1 on January 12 while patch 2.0 will be released simultaneously. This patch features nerfs and buffs to some agents and guns, among other things, most notably Brimstone and Omen.

Brand new Battle Pass

The newest episode of VALORANT will feature a brand new battle pass as well, similar to the one in Episode 1. Players will have to pay 1000 VALORANT points to access the pass and can earn multiple new skins, buddies and more through unlocking challenges while playing the game. The battle pass of Act 1 will be available from January 12 to March 1, giving players ample time to unlock everything they want.

Run it Back

As Act 1 of Episode 2 releases, so will the new skins that are added to the game. Riot will release a skin bundle called Run-It-Back, featuring some fan-favorite skins from the past acts. According to Riot Games lots of people only started playing the game when these skins were no longer available, as the developer wants to give these people an opportunity to acquire them now. The Run-It-Back bundle will cost 5946 VALORANT Points.
