Season 5 Battle Pass in Warzone – What you need to know

Season 5 of Modern Warfare and Warzone is finally here and with it also comes a new season of the Battle Pass. Let’s take a look at all the new content you’ll be able to acquire in the game, ranging from weapons and skins to operators and even some stuff we haven’t seen before.

The Battle Pass in season 5 contains the usual 100 tiers we’ve gotten used to, with items still being interchangeable for use in the Modern Warfare multiplayer and Warzone. Spread out among all the weapons skins, blueprints and other cosmetics you’ll also find some handy XP boosts, which will make leveling your weapons and profile easier and rewards you for the time you spent in-game.

Just like before the Battle Pass has free and premium tiers, so players who don’t opt for the paid option can still gain some free stuff. If you want to unlock all premium tiers it’ll set you back 1000 CoD points (or about €10). It’s also possible to buy an individual tier which contains an item or cosmetic you want.

So what exactly does the Battle Pass contain? Well your first unlock is a Shadow Company Operator but down the line you’ll also be able to pick up some new weapons in the form of the ISO SMG (unlocked at 15) and the AN-94 AR (unlocked at 31) which already had a place in previous CoD titles. Another Operator will become available at 55 and when you reach the end of the Battle Pass. There’s also some more new stuff to unlock called Wartracks, which will allow you to play a song when driving a vehicle through Verdansk.
