In a Reddit post the number one ranked Pokémon UNITE player shared his builds for each Pokémon in the game.
These are the builds:
- Lucario – Muscle Band, Scope Lens and Float Stone
- Machamp – Muscle Band, Scope Lens and Float Stone / Focus Band
- Charizard – Energy Amplifier, Float Stone and Muscle Band
- Snorlax – Focus Band, Buddy Barrier and Assault Vest / Exp. Share
- Cinderace – Muscle Band, Float Stone and Scope Lens / Buddy Barrier
- Gengar – Shell Bell, Wise Glasses and Sp. Atk. Specs
- Slowbro – Focus Band, Buddy Barrier and Assault Vest / Exp. Share
- Cramorant – Shell Bell, Wise Glasses and Buddy Barrier / Energy Amplifier
- Alolan Ninetales – Shell Bell, Wise Glasses and Buddy Barrier
- Mr. Mime – Wise Glasses, Buddy Barrier and Shell Bell / Focus Band

Which items are the meta?
When it comes to items that are used most, it does seem like things such as Muscle Band, Float Stone, Buddy Barrier, Wise Glasses and Shell Bell are most commonly used and are featured in almost every build. The same goes for some of the tanky options, with almost every tanky Pokémon opting into Buddy Barrier. Exp. Share on the other hand doesn’t seem to be used that much.
According to the Rank 1 player, some items don’t get any use at all, such as Leftovers, Attack Weight and Rocky Helmet, preferring other options.
