Pokémon UNITE to undergo 10-hour maintenance ahead of Tsareena launch

TiMi Studios, the developer behind the popular Pokémon UNITE game, has announced they’ll be scheduling 10 hours of maintenance today. They explained everything in a post they made to Twitter. “Attention, Trainers! Pokémon UNITE will be in maintenance on December 8 from 1:00PM to 11:00PM PT. During this time, the game will not be playable while we make adjustments. We appreciate your patience and understanding!”

There’s multiple reasons behind the maintenance, according to TiMi Studios. First and foremost a new character will be added to the game in the form of Tsareena, being launched globally on December 9. The maintenance will help iron out any bugs or issues. With the holidays coming up more people will also be hitting up the servers and playing the game, so TiMi Studios is making sure any problems are dealt with ahead of time.

Chances are there’s also something TiMi Studios isn’t telling us, such as a New Year’s or Christmas event that’s possibly being implemented in the game ahead of time, which also explains the length of the maintenance even further. In any case we should get a little more news on what to expect in the near future.
