Patch Preview 10.25 – Rell’s release and more to come

The upcoming Patch 10.25 is shaping up to be a big one. Not only will new champion Rell make her debut, Riot will also nerf some of the issues in Preseason so far.

Gameplay Design Director Mark “Scruffy” Yetter released a large list of upcoming changes for the new patch. 10.25 will release on December 9.

While some the changes are not yet final, we already know for sure one component of the patch: New Champion Rell

Champion adjustments

As usual Riot has kept a close eye on the winrates of individual champions. Kayn, Kayle and Fizz can all boast a rate higher than 53%. Besides those three getting nerfs, Samira also continues to be a problem to balance and will once again be readjusted.

Other champions will instead get buffs. Lee Sin, Pantheon and Twitch will get some love from the developers. Especially Lee Sin has been underwhelming so far in the Preseason as he does not synergize well with the new items so far.

Speaking of items, some of the too strong ones are going to be adjusted to stop them from running rampant in Solo Queue. The nerfbat is planned to hit Sunfire Aegis, Frostfire Gauntlet, Turbo Chemtank, Seeker’s Armguard, The Collector, Lethality and Muramana.
