During gamescom 2021 Amazon has announced an open beta for New World. While the release of the MMO is schedueld for September 28, interested players will have three more days from September 9 to 12 to explore the game ahead of its release.
There will not be any need of beta keys or invitations to the beta.
Beta access for all
All you need for the open beta will be the official client of New World. You will be able to download it through Steam’s Playtest tool once the open beta begins. The developers have said that content wise the beta test will not have anything different from the last closed beta that was available for players, who pre-ordered.
