Just a few days after Henry “HenryG” Greer announced he’ll be retiring as a CS:GO caster he’ll be joining Cloud9 as their new general manager. Together with Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunovic, who’ll lead the new roster as the coach of the organization, he’ll try to reinvigorate the CS:GO division of Cloud9.
Yesterday Cloud9 promised to shake up its entire CS:GO division and that they are trying to find a new home for their current players. With the addition of HenryG and kassad, who left 100 Thieves a couple of months ago, they now seem to have taken the first steps to accomplishing that rebuild. The pair will work closely together in building and growing the new roster.
Today, I am thrilled to announce my new position as GM of CS:GO at @Cloud9

In an interview with Dexerto, HenryG talked about the move and his responsibilities within Cloud9. “9 have entrusted me with their entire CS:GO dynasty and, honestly, I think that’s one of the boldest moves any org has made in a long time. I’m aware there is a certain level of expectation going forward now. Failure simply isn’t an option.”
Thank you @Cloud9 for the opportunity to be a part of such an elite organisation. I cant even describe how happy and proud i feel right now!Exciting times ahead as i m looking forward working with @HenryGcsgo and build something great togheter!

When it comes to signing new players, there is no information as of yet. Even though the pair already spoke with a few players no new signings were made. Chances are we’ll get some more updates on the new Cloud9 roster soon.
