GG Olleh calls out pro players for not grinding Champions Queue

While many players and teams embraced Champions Queue as it was released, calling it a saving grace for American League of Legends, things haven’t really turned out as we’ve expected. Now Golden Guardians’ support Olleh has spoken out about a few of the issues he has with Champions Queue and also vented a lot of his frustrations about the previous split.

One of the first things he called out was the amount of players actually playing Champions Queue, saying that things were great in the first week but as the season went on less and less players were actually participating, leading to it ending up with the same 20 to 30 players every time when LP didn’t matter anymore. He also says players should just play it more for practice alone, saying there’s no point to having it if it’s not used this way. The discrepancy in available games as a support was also mentioned, with him saying he got less games than other roles.

Finally he spoke out about the professionalism of pro players, saying that players should commit more of their free time to the game. After scrims, you should hop on Champions Queue and grind till 1 am, which is what he did. “What are you guys actually doing after 5-6 PM? That’s my question to all players in Champions Queue.”
