Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless

Just judging the headset by its name “Virtuoso” you would expect phenomenal sound. And in that department the Corsair headset is doing well. With two 50 milimeter Neodym Drivers the Virtuoso RGB Wireless offers dynamic and balanced sound. The microphone is also Discord-certified, has great quality and can even be detached if necessary.

 

The lightweight aluminium headband offers high stability and also comfort through the memory foam earpads. You need to slightly take more care with the earbuds as the nice-looking design is a bit prone to scratches.

Wireless, USB or 3.5mm connection

HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Wireless

The HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Wireless is a great budget Wireless Gaming Headset for $80 Dollars. Two 40mm drivers are responsible for solid but not outstanding stereo sound. If you want the absolute premium that is not enough, but for many cases it is more than sufficient. Audio is only received through the wireless connection so you have no way to hook it up to your PC or console through USB or other methods. You can charge it through a short USB-C cable and the battery will serve you for up to 17 hours.

Simple but comfortable budget headset

Very lightweight at 240g the HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Wireless is without fancy decor like LED Lighting. But that does not mean it is uncomfortable. With metal sliders you can adjust the headband until it fits. The microphone cannot be detached or muted separately but you can deactivate it by pushing it away to the side.

Logitech G733

If a good gaming headset also needs to stand out in its design for you, you should check out the G733. Choosing your Wireless Gaming Headset

When shopping for a wireless gaming headset there are several things you need to watch out for. Here are the most important factors when deciding on your headset:

• Connection and range: Wireless headsets have different modes of connection. Either Bluetooth or radio. Bluetooth is much more common and compatible with other devices (such as your mobile) but have shorter range. Radio connections usually need an additional USB adapter but offer superior range and quality. Some headsets also offer a wired connection through USB or 3.5mm jacks.
• Battery life: Wireless headsets require batteries to keep running. Most models offer more than 10 hours of runtime and can be charged rather quickly. Recharging is mostly done through USB and should not take longer than an hour. Premium models like the SteelSeries Arctis Pro come with an additional battery so you don’t need to stop using the headset due to running out of juice.
• Ergonomics: A headset could have the best features and looks, but in the end it all comes down to how well it fits. If it is uncomfortable or sits loosely you should look for another model.
• Controls: Ideally a headset should be quick and easy to configurate, even during play. It helps a lot if the device in question has buttons for muting the microphone or volume control right on the headset.
