TwitchCon had also been a victim of the pandemic halting most large-scale events for two years now. Now a blogpost has detailled the plans for 2022.
TwitchCon is Back!
The convention will be held July 16th to 17th this year. Location will be the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam as they had initially planned for 2020. If you cannot make it to the European event, the US variant will be held in fall in San Diego’s Convention Center from October 7 to 9.
Tightly packed schedule
As usual TwitchCon will have a tightly packed schedule with Cosplay competitions, music events and streamer meetups. For the first time the convention will also feature a Drag showcase, which will allow Drag performers to present themselves on stage.
Security for all participants will be Twitch’ priority at TwitchCon. Accordingly only fully vaccinated people will be allowed to attend. Further details for tickets and COVID restrictions of Amsterdam will be announced at a later date.
