Dr Disrespect’s YouTube numbers are up, show impressive growth throughout 2021

It’s been two years since the infamous Twitch ban, but the Doc has seemingly found his stride on YouTube, and the numbers don’t lie.

On Twitch, Dr Disrespect was one of the most-followed streamers. Twitch acknowledged his popularity by signing him to a multi-year deal, paving the way to a successful future together.

That came all crumbling down, however, after the streaming platform permanently banned Dr Disrespect for undisclosed reasons. The lawsuit that followed was settled earlier this month, but it’s still not clear why Twitch decided to ban one of their most popular ambassadors. In a (very) short statement, he made it clear he wouldn’t return to Twitch.

It forced the Doc to find a new home for his brand. A home he found in YouTube Gaming, although not as a sponsored streamer.  His return was highly anticipated, and hundreds of thousands flocked to the site to celebrate the return of the Two-Time.

A report by statistics website Stream Hatchet shows that in the last year, Dr Disrespect has grown in every meaningful metric. The report focuses on the last 12 months, meaning it shows statistics from February 2021 to February 2022.

On average, his content was consumed at a rate of 1.9 million hours watched, with a peak of 2.69 million hours in November last year. Numbers that Dr Disrespect approved of.

With his long-time friends TimTheTatman and DrLupo on YouTube as well, there’s literally no incentive left for the Doc to think about Twitch.
