Dignitas adds Lekr0 to CS:GO team

The 27-year old Swede will play his first game for Dignitas later this Sunday in the Pinnacle Cup.

Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson will team up once again with Patrick “f0rest” Lindberg after the duo played together for eighteen months for NIP. Their journey together came to an end at the end of January 2020, when f0rest signed for Dignitas, ending an eight-year career at the Ninjas.

Lekr0 joins as the replacement of Haris “H4RR3” Hadzic, who played just five months for Dignitas before being moved to the bench.

He hasn’t seen any action in a while, since his former employer North decided to leave the esports industry due to financial constraints. Jonas signed for the Danish organization in August 2020, coming from NIP.

Adam “friberg” Friberg will retain his in-game leader role, despite Lekr0 having experience in this role as well. Instead, Jonas will take on the role he played in early NIP¨, according to team coach Halvor “vENdetta” Gulestøl.

The North American organization hopes to turn around its less than stellar start of the season. Dignitas didn’t make it past the first round of the playoffs of the Vulkan Fight Series, finished 9th/10th in cs_summit 7 and 13th/15th in Snow Sweet Snow 1.

With Lekr0 joining, Dignitas is now one step closer to having a full Swedish starting roster, with Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli being the sole Danish player.
