background image extend their Dota 2 roster’s contracts

It sure has been a busy week for legendary Dota 2 team after two recent deals with Pari-Match and MegaFon. The latter caused a change in their colors, switching from their signature orange to green. Now, in light of recent events and the great success during the competitive season, VP have officially extended the contracts of their Dota 2 roster.

The line-up has been very consistent in their performance and are currently in the top three after the end of the Dota Pro Circuit. General Manager Roman Dvoryankin commented:

“Long-term contracts are rare in the esports world, but they are key to long-lasting partnerships. This way, we're taking another important step in the direction of enforcing a more rigid set of rules that are already universally accepted in the traditional sports. Obviously, we're all anticipating and preparing for The International 2018. This is of highest priority for us. We're happy to have the current line-up participate in the greatest international tournament” haven’t made any changes to their squad ever since replacing Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk with Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan. The rest of the team have been together for more than two years. Other examples of rosters remaining unchanged for long periods are those of Team Liquid and Newbee, so you could say that having a stable line-up equals success. captain Alexey “Solo” Berezin added:

“As obvious as it may sound, is our second family. As we approach TI 2018, the contract renewal is extremely important for us. We understand the trust our organization puts on us and the gravity of the matter. At the moment, we're giving our best in practice. We're sure we'll approach the tournament in our best form”. have been very dominant throughout the season, but have yet to win The International. In last year’s edition of the event, they were knocked down to the loser’s bracket by LGD.Forever Young and later eliminated by Team Liquid. Do they have what it takes to break the TI-curse and claim the aegis this time?
