Gaming headset brand Turtle Beach has signed up an extended partnership with eSports powerhouse Splyce, becoming the team’s console division official sponsor. After a recent victory last weekend in the Halo World Championships, Splyce’s squad sits atop the shooter’s competitive world.
Similarly, the organisation fields other successful teams across multiple FPS titles, including Call of Duty and Rocket League. Splyce will partake in the Call of Duty World League Seattle that kicks off on Friday, 20 April through Sunday, 22 April, at the CenturyLink Field event centre.
The Call of Duty WWII event will be played on PlayStation 4 and come with a hefty prize pool of $200,000. The Turtle Beach team will benefit from slick state-of-the-art Elite Pro gaming gear.
Turtle Beach CEO Juergen Stark expressed his satisfaction with the extended partnership and pointed out to the series of competitive successes team Splyce have had in recent years, including their continuing domination in the Call of Duty franchise.
Splyce are now eyeing an expansion in Rocket League later in 2018. Their CEO Marty Strenczewilk was pleased with the renewed deal and stated that the excellent gear provided by Turtle Beach was essential to the continued success of Splyce as an eSports organisation.
