MediaMation and Hollywood Esports have announced a new eSports theatre and studio in Chicago. Located at the Cinemas Entertainment Lawndale 10, this new eSports facility will supplement the main venue known as MX4D Esports Theatre located at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.
Hollywood Esports CEO Robert K. Laity has expressed the organisation’s satisfaction to partner with Cinemas Entertainment and bring a new high-end eSports venue for fans and professionals alike.
Meanwhile, Cinemas Entertainment CEO & president Henry Leong commented that: ‘Cinema owners are exploring new ways to appeal to our customers and as esports continues its rapid expansion in the US, cinemas have a unique ability to host weekly events and tournaments through Hollywood Esports utilizing MediaMation's innovative esports venue technology. Laity added that the cinema owners are looking into ways to bring more weekend events, tapping into MediaMation’s innovative ‘eSports venue technology.’ He was appreciative of the latest addition of the MX4D Esports Threatres, as it enables the company to manage industry-specific events and tournaments.
