Invictus Gaming 3-0 after quick win against 100 Thieves

Invictus Gaming continued their undefeated streak in Group D at the League of Legends’ World Championship, taking down the NA representatives 100 Thieves in just over 20 minutes.

100 Thieves found a great start, killing the IG top and jungler two minutes in in a contested fight. However, the Chinese team quickly found a comeback, as jungler Gao “Ning” Zhen-Ning quickly took off despite the early death. Even before the 10-minute mark, IG were clearly on the offense, and Ning and his support Wang “Baolan” Liu-Yi continued to set IG for a kill after a kill.

In a fight near the inner mid-lane tower, the LPL representatives routed the NA defense, getting the ace and the inhibitor in an extended fight, taking the mid inhib tower at 15 minutes and getting 5 kills and 5 assists on Yu “JackieLove” Wen-Bo’s Kai'sa. Just before the 20 minute mark, Invictus found the final fight as they dove the first inhibitor tower, aced IG and got an incredibly fast win.

After the first few minutes, IG completely dominated the game. The second Chinese seed looked  incredible and even the normally inconsistent Baolan was on point, keeping IG – and the LPL – undefeated.
