A Reddit user has introduced a new skin builder online, which allows Fortnite players to come up with their own attire for the avatars in the popular battle royale game. Currently, in its beta version, the website allows customers to pick from a male and female skins and customise them as they please.
Make Fortnite Skins runs smoothly in a browser and is easy on the eyes. Editors can pick from a great number of available skins for different body parts, including Head, Body, Arms, Legs, and miscellaneous items.
It’s a rough universe and we gotta be tough cookies.
You can choose from a plethora of whimsical outfits and items that will contribute to the creation of a new and unique character. The idea behind the editor is solid, but it may need some polishing, which is understandable given the Beta status.
Presently, one particularly annoying thing we have found out is that the editor does not show which item you have selected and if you start selecting en masse, you may end up with a jumble of body parts. Admittedly, a simple Reset Skin click would solve this problem. The lack of highlights in the selection boxes, though, may still be avoided in a future version.
The mobile version has been a quick leg-up on the website’s version, introducing a few neat features, such as the one that allows you to save your skin automatically rather than taking a desktop screenshot.
The platform is only gaining traction, so it would be interesting to track its progress and see how things pan out for it in the future. Stay tuned for more relevant Fortnite information or head right to the editor and come up with your own avatar.
