Ex-Tigers Dota 2 pro Ahjit joins Mineski

Just before the open qualifiers for the Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 11, Mineski completed their lineup with Lai “Ahjit” Jay Son.

The SEA team has been struggling ever since the new 2018-2019 competitive season started. Their troubles began when Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung left the organization. After months of inactivity, he joined rival SEA team Tigers along with Danil “Dendi” Ishutin. Mushi’s place was taken by Johan “pieliedie” Åström but results were still lacking. Mineski weren’t able to qualify for any of the major events so far, missing DreamLeague Season 10, The Kuala Lumpur Major, The Bucharest Minor and the currently ongoing Chongqing Major. Just yesterday, the SEA organization announced that Thiay “JT-“ Jun Wen will be loaned to Newbee which left the team with a man down.

The replacement was made clear on the very same day but wasn’t announced on any social media or website. In order for Mushi and Dendi to join Tigers, two players had to make space and leave: those were Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky and Lai “Ahjit” Jay Son. The latter is now part of Mineski and will have a chance to prove himself in the DreamLeague Season 11 qualifiers. The team also received an invitation for the upcoming ESL One Katowice which will take place a month from now.
