CLG on winning streak after victory against EF

In a close game, Counter Logic Gaming took their third consecutive win, this time defeating Echo Fox.

The two teams stayed close in the opening minutes of the game, until a commit by Kim “Fenix” Jae-hun to kill Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage's Syndra saw him die for first blood when CLG's bot-lane duo arrived. gank that resulted in a 2-1 in his team’s favor, and after taking the first tower 16 minutes in, they came into the mid-game with a small gold lead. A big standoff near the dragon pit 20 minutes in started well for Echo Fox, who pushed their opponents back and forced several of them to use their stopwatches, but eventually CLG got two kills for one and used their map advantage to take another tower as Darshan “Darshan” Upadhyaya's Urgot got into the enemy backline.

CLG maintained a slowly growing gold lead for much of the mid-game as they pushed Echo Fox back, but 31 minutes in, they were caught out in the mid-lane. EF killed Darshan and Vincent “Biofrost” Wang and turned to the baron. They were unable to prevent Wiggily from entering the pit, however, and the CLG jungler stole the baron buff away. Echo Fox were still able to take several kills in the ensuing fight and push their opponents around the map, bringing the gold to virtually even after another kill and a tower 35 minutes in.

It all came to a fight near the Elder drake two minutes later, where CLG isolated and killed the flanking Colin “Solo” Earnest on Aatrox. They secured the elder dragon before taking a baron as well, and used the double buff to break into the enemy base. Echo Fox eventually engaged them in a fight near their bot lane inhibitor, but despite a Solo flank they could not find a kill; instead, it was EF jungler Lee “Rush” Yoon-jae who died first, and now with a man advantage CLG drove them back and won the game.

It was a close fight for most of the game, but Wiggly's hero steal and the secure of the elder dragon resulted in Counter Logic Gaming taking the win. It is now their third one in a row, and after a 0-2 start, they finally find themselves in the upper half of the table.
