Zeri makes professional debut in Mad Lions Week 4 matchup against Fnatic

League of Legends’ newest addition Zeri made her debut onto the professional stage after being picked by LEC’s Mad Lions in their week 4 matchup against Fnatic.

The Spark of Zaun was recently made available for competitive play, and Mad Lions didn’t waste any time to put her on the big stage.

Fans were delighted to see Zeri in the most hyped match of the day. Fnatic (5-2) looked to bounce back from a rough 0-2 week while Mad Lions (4-3) looked to push past Vitality and Misfits who were tied for fifth with a 4-4 record.

And while everyone was excited to finally see Zeri in action -being first picked and everything-, it wasn’t what the fans expected.

After 25 minutes in the game, UNF0RGIVEN’s Zeri had managed to die once for a very bleek 0/1/0 scoreline. It took nearly 30 minutes for the Mad Lions bot laner to pick up his first assist, when his team found Fnatic’s jungler Razork.

Despite Mad Lions’ jungler Elyoya picking up four kills by the 17-minute mark, it was Fnatic that pushed through to another victory, by prioritizing mid lane.

Lions’ final stand came around the Elder Dragon. Elyoya found a good engage on the backline from Fnatic, but Humanoid’s Victor was the deciding factor in that teamfight, putting four kills to his name.

The lackluster Zeri performance ended when Fnatic grabbed one final kill on UNF0RGIVEN’ Zeri, who ended with no kills and only three assists for a measly 0/2/3 scoreline.
