Xyp9x returns to active lineup

Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth has ended his medical leave and will return to the active lineup of Astralis’ CS:GO roster. This marks the return of the full five that is considered the greatest team CS:GO has ever produced.

Although their reverse sweep victory over Natus Vincere at the ESL Pro League Season 12 proved that Astralis is back in form even without Xyp9x’ help, his return turns Astralis into a truly terrifying opponent. On October 5 he announced his return to active play via Twitter:

After more than four months on the sidelines the clutch minister is back in action. Although he has returned to training the 25-year old star will not be playing for Astralis at the upcoming DreamHack Open Fall. After getting back into the thick of things, fans can expect Xyp9x to be back to full form in one of the other tournaments Astralis will attend later:
