Will G2 be struck down in the EU First Strike Regional Finals?

We’ve taken a look at the First Strike NA Regional Finals, yet Europe might bring a ton of heat as well. With G2 Esports struggling in the initial qualifier, there might be some room for upsets in First Strike Europe Regional Finals.
Bugs and upsets

Looking at the playoffs bracket of the first Play-in, a lot of people might have to do a double take as G2 Esports lost in the round of 16 to Guild Esports with a 11-13 score. A rather interesting outcome for a team that is the number one of Europe according to TheSpike. This result was overturned however, as Guild Esports used a bug during the match.

They boosted their Sage wall on a turret to give themselves an angle which Riot Games has declared to be against their rules. G2 Esports managed to get back on their feet afterwards and continued on to win 2-0 against Ninjas in Pyjamas to take their Regional Finals spot. Will they struggle once more in the finals or will they play it as clean as we would expect them to?

FunPlus Phoenix rising up?

Their biggest challenger might be FunPlus Phoenix, a team often trying to rival them yet also coming short, for instance during the Blast Valorant Twitch Invitational. Will this be the tournament where they can turn the tide and possibly learn the weaknesses on G2’s side that might have been revealed by Guild Esports? It’s going to be hard to overcome the team that has bested you in the past but some time has passed between then and now, everything is possible.
