Weird Warzone hack boosts player levels to 1000, even if they don’t want to

A weird new hack saw some players’ levels increase to 1000, with even popular streamer NICKMERCS becoming a victim.

Popular streamer NICKMERCS was a victim of the hack, with it happening to him while he was livestreaming recently. During a normal game his account suddenly jumped up to level 1000 and he was able to access and equip all dark matter camo on his guns. It looks like a similar hack we’ve already seen in games such as Black Ops II and Black Ops III.

At the time of writing, it does seem like the hack is already fixed but some players who had their account boosted are seemingly still at level 1000. What happened is that players would all of a sudden instantly gain levels until they reached level 1000, while also unlocking all the skins and calling cards in the game. The hack itself seemingly occurred even though the player didn’t ask for it.

While some may welcome the sudden boost in levels, the hack (or glitch) isn’t ideal. Some people are scared of losing their accounts after being unwillingly boosted by the hack. As Treyarch has apparently already taken action against the hack, players should be able to safely continue on playing, even if they were affected.
