Vitality sign Magisk, Dupreeh & Zonic

Team Vitality announced on Twitter that Magisk, Dupreeh, and Zonic were signed to the CS:GO roster. After months of rumors, Vitality finally confirmed its 2022 roster.

Following the PGL Stockholm Major, both Magisk and Dupreeh were moved off of the active roster. As the team tried out several new lineups, including K0nfig and blameF, Magisk and Dupreeh began looking for a new team.

Now the Danish duo will play alongside the ZywOo, Mistuaa, and apEX. Though making several finals throughout 2021, Vitality sought to overhaul the roster following a disappointing end to the season. The team sent off Shox, who has now signed with Team Liquid, as well as recent addition Kyojin.

Dupreeh, Magisk, and zonic were all apart of Astralis dominant era in CS:GO. Winning countless events and lifting countless trophies, the squad took three consecutive Major wins and became known as the most accomplished roster of all time. Though the final months may have been tumultuous for the roster, Astralis bid their longtime trio off with respect.

Team Vitality stated that the organization has shifted away from its French-focused roster. “Since the beginning of our entrance into CS:GO, we have been working with intensity to get to the top and nurture some of the best talent France has to offer” said CEO Neo, “It’s now time to think internationally and create a new CS:GO culture of European talent with legacy athletes.”

The deal for the Astralis trio was reportedly evaluated at $56.7 million. This new iteration of the roster will make its debut in 2022.
