Version1 knocks FaZe Clan out of NA VCT Last Chance Qualifier

Not many would have expected, but FaZe Clan is already packing their bags, leaving the NA VCT Last Chance Qualifier. The normally pretty strong VALORANT roster came way too short against Version1 and got eliminated in the first round of the lower bracket, after losing against Rise earlier in the tournament.

FaZe Clan is known as a pretty strong team in the region, but during their NA VCT Last Chance Qualifier run, they did not look like the team they used to be. They fought for their tournament lives against Version1, because losing in the lower bracket means elimination. On Icebox, FaZe started off strong, but after winning the first two rounds, Version1 managed to rack up an impressive 9 rounds in a row. It almost became close when switching sides, but Version1 eventually managed to win by 13-10.

Beaten on their ground

Breeze, which was picked by FaZe, seemed to be working out better for them, as they ended the first half with a 6-6 draw. After switching sides, FaZe collapsed and Version1 managed to win the necessary rounds to kick FaZe out of the tournament. With another 13-10 scoreline, Version1 is the team that moves on.

The NA VCT Last Chance Qualifier was a big dissappointment for FaZe anyway. They got sent to the lower bracket in the first round of the tournament, by losing 2-1 against Rise. FaZe even won the first map during that confrontation, but could not close it out.
