VALORANT: These are the 8 teams who qualified for Challengers 1 NA

We now know the VALORANT teams who’ll compete in the VALORANT Champions Tour NA Stage 1. Among some familiar names we also see fresh talent battling for their place among the top.

The eight qualified teams are Immortals, Team Envy, NRG, Sentinels, Gen.G Esports, Luminosity Gaming, XSET and Andbox. That also means some of the most prominent teams of the regions missed out on qualifying. Some of the most important ones are Cloud9 Blue, TSM and Renegades, who all got eliminated during the round of 16. 100 Thieves, who were regarded as one of the strongest teams in the open qualifier, also got eliminated very early on by Carpe Noctem, who in turn made way for NRG.

The team to watch is most definitely Immortals, who also placed first in the Open Qualifier following victories over Team Envy, Sentinels and Andbox. They recently picked up new players in the form of Nicholas “NaturE” Garrison and Rhett “Kehmicals” Lynch, which seems to be working out great.

The Main Event of Stage 1 is set to start on February 4 and will run until February 7. Alongside prize money, teams that end up in the top 4 will earn qualification for Challengers 2, where top 4 teams are able to qualify for Stage 1 Masters.
