The professional scene in VALORANT grows day by day. Well-established organizations already announced their rosters for Riot Games’ shooter, even though it has not even launched yet.
Players from different games like Fortnite, PUBG, Overwatch, RainbowSix Siege and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive have started a virtual pilgrimage and announced their transition to VALORANT. With its steadily increasing number of professionals, it is clear that Riot Games was able to convince players to compete in their first ever First Person Shooter (FPS).
Jay “sinatraa” Won, the current Overwatch League MVP, is probably the most prominent player switching to VALORANT. Together with professionals from Counter-Strike and PUBG he formed the new VALORANT roster for Sentinels, which previously was most known for its Fortnite World Cup Champion Kyle „Bugha“ Giersdorf.
Other organizations like G2 Esports and T1 not only have announced interested in VALORANT but are already aiming to field the best roster in the world. Carlos „ocelote“ Rodríguez even stated in an interview with skysports that VALORANT will be one of the most important games for G2 in the future.
