VALORANT heading for the clash of the year at First Strike NA

With Valorant being the new big FPS game for the NA scene, many former CS:GO professionals have transitioned into the Riot Games shooter. As the First Strike NA Regional Finals are coming up, who will be the ones to call themselves the best of the region at the end of the year?
Immortals on the rise?

The qualifiers are over and the teams are locked in, but have we seen all these teams have to offer in the qualifiers or is there more to come? One team that might perform better than in their qualifiers is Immortals. Missing out on the first possibility of qualifying for the Regional Finals by not doing all too well in the Open Qualifiers of the NSG Tournament, they were able to get a spot in the UMG Closed Qualifier.

This wasn’t smooth sailing either however, as Andrew ‘ShoT UP’ Orlowski dropped out during a map due to medical reasons. With a substitute joining them for the next map they lost the series but were able to take the win in the following series against Dignitas and Luminosity Gaming. Who knows if they can surprise some top teams when they are at full strength.

Envy as the favourites

A favourite for the title might be Envy, losing only a single series in the NSG Tournament Closed Qualifier, they were able to take the first seed. With their nemesis of Sentinels on the other side of the bracket, they could make a good run for the finals, as most of their wins were backed up by convincing scores.
