VALORANT developer Riot Games has opted to remove the map haven from competitive rotation. They temporarily removed the map after they were made aware of an exploit that used Reyna’s abilities.
The exploit itself was related to planting the Spike. On Haven’s C site, Reyna could use her Ability Dismiss to force herself through platforms on the map, which allowed her to get underneath the map. From this position players could still plant the Spike, which the other team would then be unable to defuse.
We were made aware of an exploit on Haven and disabled it in the competitive queue while we ship a fix overnight. It’ll come back into the rotation as soon as we’re confident it’s fixed.

Even though the exploit itself is pretty difficult to pull off, Riot Games took no risks and removed Haven for now. on Twitter they made an announcement and talked about fixing the issue. “We were made aware of an exploit on Haven and disabled it in the competitive queue while we ship a fix overnight. It’ll come back into the rotation as soon as we’re confident it’s fixed.”
The exploit itself seems to have been around for quite a while, as Reyna isn’t the only agent that was reportedly able to pull it off. Players were able to get to the same spot on the map that Reyna was using Omen during the beta, but that issue was fixed upon launch. As of now Riot Games hasn’t announced a specific time when Haven will be available again.
