VALORANT: Andbox move POACH to the bench

In a twitter post Andbox player Jake “POACH” Brumleve shared that the organization opted to bench him, as he now looks for new opportunities outside of the roster.

POACH has been a part of Andbox since October 2020, when he started playing with Bradley “ANDROID” Fodor, Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker and Sebastian “seb” Bucki. Now the Fortnite-turned-VALORANT player talked about possibly leaving the team following him being benched. “As of now I’m on the bench for Andbox and I’m currently evaluating my options. I am able to look at options outside of Andbox.”

The decision comes following Andbox’s showing over at the VALORANT Champions Tour Challengers NA stage 1, where they failed to qualify for challengers 2 after a defeat to both Team Envy and Sentinels. It’ll be interesting to see who Andbox will look to next to take over POACH’s spot on the team.

Before playing for Andbox, POACH was a former professional VALORANT player, having played for Team Liquid and scoring a few high placement and wins, most notably a first place finish in the Fortnite Summer Skirmish Week 5 following a second place in week 2. Since his move to VALORANT he’s been showing he belongs, scoring some decent results with Andbox since joining in October. Still, some voices criticized his in-game mechanics which still need work, while praising his awareness.
