Team SoloMid has secured a first place finish over at the FaZe Clan VALORANT Invitational, where they beat Sentinels in the Grand Final. The final series turned out to be amazingly close, with both teams giving it their all as TSM eventually triumphed over Sentinels.
The Grand Final wasn’t the first time both teams met each other during the tournament, as they also faced off during the Upper Bracket final. There it was TSM securing a spot in the Grand Finals with a 2-0 victory. Sentinels would eventually manage to secure a spot in the Grand Finals themselves after taking down Immortals in the lower bracket.

In the Grand Final TSM started off great, picking up a 1-0 lead in the series. The maps would eventually go back and forth with Sentinels levelling out the score each time, leading to the conclusion of the series on Bind with both teams on match point at 2-2. It was Sentinels who would eventually reach match point but TSM fought back to force overtime once more, finishing the game in overtime with a 14-12 score.

Thanks to their victory TSM take home the first prize consisting of $25.000, with Sentinels still taking home $15.000 of their own. Immortals finished in third place after losing to Sentinels in the lower bracket finals, with Gen.G Esports rounding out the top 4. 100 Thieves ended up in a disappointing 13th-16th place.
