Tow B stops coaching for German CS:GO team BIG

After more than a year as BIG’s head coach, Tobias “tow b” Herberhold leaves the team. His assistant coach Dustin “DuDe” Großmann. will take over.

Tow b stopped working as BIG’s head coach on January 9. In his time since October 2019, he guided the German top team to the throne of international Counter-Strike. The time won multiple big titles such as first place at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 and cs_summit 6: Europe.

Former assistant coach DuDe will now take the lead. He started coaching BIG in October 2020 and “proved himself during the recent months and got to know our way of working intensively.”, said BIG CEO, Daniel Finkler.

In his statement, tow b is thanking all of his teammates. He leaves open the possibility to return to BIG, but not as a coach. “I might come back in the future in an advisory role for BIG”, Herberhold stated.

The former coach now wants to focus on family and personal projects.
