Tottenham forward Son Heung-min prefers League of Legends over going out

Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min said in an interview he likes to play League of Legends during his off time.

With the history and the sheer number of players, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that there are quite a few famous people enjoying the game too. Son is just the latest professional football player to release that info to the public.

“Actually, I stay most time at home,” he said. “I like playing games. I like playing League of Legends.” The commitment of being a professional football player doesn’t leave him with much time to enjoy the game.

While a lot of football players enjoy playing FIFA and Call of Duty on console, Son has remained steadfast in his dedication to the MOBA. No thanks to his teammate Dele Alli, as he’s trying to convince Son to start playing Call of Duty with him and his other teammates.

Son didn’t say what role he plays, or what his summoner’s name is. Fans trying to guess his role have concluded that the mid-lane seems to be the most logical.

If the fans are correct, comparisons to South Korea’s other superstar Lee “Faker” San-hyeok can be quickly made. They’ve already been made. Fans are hoping that the duo will queue together and unite the football and League fans.

The two superstars appeared in the same Xbox Game Pass commercial. It’s partly because of that that we see the fans hoping to see a collaboration soon.
