This is what VALORANT’s newest game mode Replication will look like

We finally got some more details on the newest game mode that’s coming to VALORANT, called Replication.

Replication will be entering VALORANT starting with Patch 2.09 and is bound to bring some interesting gameplay to the playing field. For the most part Replication will bring the same rules to the table as the unrated mode. Players will be looking to defend the spike or, on offense, plant it. The biggest change in Replication is that all players on the team will be using the same agent to achieve their goal.

Interestingly enough, the choice of the agent is not random. Before the game starts, at the agent selection screen, all the players on the team will get to vote on the agent they want to use. The Agent that gets the most votes will be the one everyone will have to play. The match itself will be best-of-nine, with the first team to reach five rounds won also winning the game.

The abilities of the agents will refresh every round with exception of their Ultimate ability, with all players also getting a fixed amount of credits at the start of every round, leveling out the playing field. Replication will be replacing the Escalation game mode for a while, with the unique game modes coming and going as they’re rotated by Riot Games every few weeks.
