Call of Duty Warzone has a wide arsenal of well over 100 weapons to choose from. This massive selection caters to a variety of playstyles and strategies. Rate of fire is one of the best stats to think of when selecting your ideal loadout. Speed and damage are often the difference maker in gunfights, and present a reliable strategy going in to any lobby. If you want to utilize this game plan though, you’ll need the guns to match. Here are the weapons in Warzone with some of the highest fire rates.
Fennec – Speed and aggression
The Fennec is a SMG that embodies a quick and aggressive playstyle. This combat SMG is incredibly versatile and highly customization without ever sacrificing its rate of fire. With 25 damage per shot (40 for headshots) you can quickly damage down any opponent in no time flat. Increased ammo capacity and and the Stippled Grip Tape will only work to make this SMG more accurate and deadly. No other weapon in the game can match both the impressive speed and damage per bullet that the Fennec offers.
MAC 10 – Damage on the run
The MAC-10’s strengths are in the same vein as the Fennec. Both SMGs excel at dealing fast damage. The MAC-10 offers approximately the same level of damage (25 per shot, 30 for headshots) and has approximately the same rate of fire. The inherent accuracy of the MAC-10 is slightly worse than the Fennec though, as the Agency Suppressor and 5.9″ Task Force are necessary additions to keep your spray on track. The weapon also has a relatively limited range, but as long as you keep gunfights close quarters and quick, you will have no problem running and gunning with the MAC-10.
FFAR – The staple AR
Assault rifle options may be significantly slower than the top two SMGs, but offer potentially more in terms of range and damage. The FFAR is one of the staple ARs of Warzone, consistently landing among the top used weapons. This is for good reason, as the gun offers impressive damage per shot (33) without massively sacrificing fire rate. If you’re looking for a more generally applicable gun, the FFAR is definitely what you should select. The rifle fits all the needs of the SMG but opens up the possibility of winning gunfights from afar.
AMAX – Maxing out damage
Similar to the FFAR, the AMAX is a steadily used rifle that provides both damage and is relatively faster than most other guns in Warzone. The rifle puts out 42 damage per shot though is certainly slower than most of the above weapons already listed. Attachments like the XRK Zodiac will increase fire rate however be sure to level out the stats with recoil-focused attachments as well.
VAL – The bridge between ARs and SMGs
The VAL is a very interesting AR that is often seen as a bridging that gap between ARs and SMGs. The VAL offers high fire rates and accuracy, dealing 37 damage per shot. If you’re looking to fire fast without sacrificing accuracy, then there are few better options than the VAL.
