These games will be featured at gamescom 2021

As always gamescom is the place to be for fans in order to get the newest information on their awaited new releases. Here are some of the most anticipated titles in gamescom 2021’s lineup.

Call of Duty: Vanguard

The next Call of Duty is inbound and will lead us back to World War II. Just like Black Ops Cold War last year the new CoD will also be linked with the popular Battle Royale Warzone.

A first teaser was given to the fans already. The official reveal event in Warzone showed off the trailer and we can expect more to come at gamescom 2021.

Forza Horizon 5

Racing fans have been waiting for Forza Horizon 5 for a while. The Open World game is based on the namegiving Horizon festival.

Location of the game is Mexico this time around and the developers have packed a roughly twice as large a map than in Horizon 4.

Age of Empires IV

It has been 16 years since the last main line Age of Empires. But this year the fourth title is finally arriving. Expectations are high for the title as the RTS genre has not had a strong release in quite a while now.

As the release is scheduled for October this year fans can look forward to more information and details at gamescom 2021.

Starfield

The third Bethesda game after Skyrim and Fallout 4 under the leadership of Todd Howard is Starfield. Not much is known yet about the Action Adventure besides the projected release date end of 2022.

Will this just be “Skyrim in Space”? We will have to wait and see, the first teaser does look great.

Halo: Infinite

Halo: Infinite is scheduled for release this year. For the first time in the history of the franchise a new title will be released at the same time for Xbox and PC.

As is typical for Halo the campaign will be a meaty part of the game, it will be curious to see how Open World works in the Halo world. Fans could already have a first glimpse of the upcoming game through a technical preview.

Far Cry 6

Another Open World shooter at gamescom 2021 is Far Cry 6. This time around the Cuban-inspired island Yara needs to be liberated from its dictator. Criss-crossing the entire island you will find very varied landscapes from urban environments to deep jungles.

Creativity for your weaponry will also be increased as you can build weapons out of almost anything. Be it Discos Locos or a minigun out of a lawnmower or even a rifle that shoots CDs. With a release in October gamescom 2021 will most likely feature more details for the game.
