There are already 16 VALORANT agents you can pick for your team’s composition, but data collected by VALORBUFF shows there are definitely fan favorites. When episode 3 dropped, every Agent got some sort of change. Combined with the economy changes, a lot of adjustments had to be made.
The win rates in this article are matches won when not facing a mirror matchup, so when there’s not the same agent on the enemy team. There’s a race going on for that fifth spot, with at least three other Agents knocking on that door.
Honorable mention
Although not in this list by pick rate, KillJoy has the top spot for the entire top 5 as a good pairing. KillJoy is in sixth place by pick rate (34.8%) but blows the top pick out of the water with a 55.7% win rate.
5. Raze
One of the more annoying Agents to play against, because each and every one of her abilities can kill you. Picked 36.9% of the time, Raze has a very balanced 50% win rate.
4. Sova
Sova can be a valuable asset to any team if used correctly. A good Sova player knows all the line-ups for the darts, and his ultimate is perfect for delaying spike defuses. He’s picked 37.4% of the time but is 25% behind our number three.
3. Jett
You would imagine with all the instalockers Jett would be higher up the list. With a 62.8% pick rate, the duelist takes third place. With 14.3% of first bloods, it looks like the Agent is being used as intended.
2. Reyna
With a pick rate of 72.7%, Reyna is top tier. Her Devour outshines the heal of a Sage, and Dismiss can get you out of bad positioning without being punished too hard.
1. Sage
A healer as the most picked Agent in a first-person shooter might look weird, but the Sentinel brings more than just healing to the table. Slows, a wall to deny entry, an ultimate that literally brings a teammate back from the dead, … Sage can do it all. Her 74.9% pick rate proves a lot of players agree.
