These are the three NA teams moving on to Masters Berlin

The three NA representatives have been determined after the third day of the Challengers Playoffs.

Sentinels and 100 Thieves managed to lock in their spots at Masters Berlin, however the third team was decided today. After Sentinels swept 100 Thieves 2-0, Envy won their bout against Xset to claim the final spot. Now that all three have been decided, all that is left to fight for is seeding. Envy will take on 100 Thieves to see who will face off against Sentinels in the grand finals.

Sentinels still on top

Sentinels once again met 100 Thieves, and found an all too familiar 2-0 result against them. In every meeting between the teams, the battle between Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk usually takes center stage. While TenZ showed up big, finding 34 total kills and 139 ADR, Asuna struggled.

In total, 100 Thieves found only 10 total round wins in the Sentinel’s dominant victory. Thus far, Rise is the only team able to take a map off of Sentinels. Now that the only team to defeat Sentinels in a series, Xset, is out of the tournament, can anyone stand up to the giants?

Envy find the last spot for Masters Berlin

After adding two new members, Envy found the winning combination to finally represent NA internationally. Envy and Xset had the significantly more competitive series, as both knew their Berlin chances were on the line.

One of Envy’s longest standing members, Austin “Crashies” Roberts, had one of the best Sova performances in recent memory. The player put up 43 total kills and 156 ADR. Though certainly not one of Envy’s most well-known carries, this series showed the depth of Envy’s roster, which will now get a shot at the world.
