We first heard of the new Anima Squad skin line when Riot Games revealed some concept art they’d done during the January developer update at the start of the year, acting as an expansion on the ‘battle bunny’ skin line. “Anima Squad has everything you’d expect to see in a futuristic thematic, like sleek, high-tech armor, powerful warriors, and cute animals,” Riot Games said.
Now we know which champions will be receiving a new skin within the line. The six champions are Vayne (based on a bat), Miss Fortune (based on a bunny), Jinx (based on a cat), Sylas (based on a wolf) and Riven (based on a bunny). The skins obviously continue the trend of combining cute animals and elements with more futuristic and technologically advanced items and armor.

Considering the popularity of a skin like the Battle Bunny Riven one, it shouldn’t be surprising Riot Games is looking to add more skins like it into League of Legends. By targeting popular champions such as Miss Fortune, Vayne and Jinx, it’s obvious Riot believes the skins will be popular. The new skins will be released on March 30, with patch 12.6.
