The Top 10 Most Popular Games on Twitch in October

As we head into November let us take a look back at the most popular games in October. Which games dominated Twitch?

The Twitch highlight of October has without a doubt been the finals of the League of Legends World Championships 2020. Could the main event finally take over Among Us? Here are the Top 10 of the month ranked by Watch Time according to sullygnome.com:

Just missing out on the Top 10 is Dota 2 at eleventh. Although major tournaments have been happening, the scene still suffers from the hiatus of the Valve sanctioned Dota Pro Circuit.
Cutting into the Top 10 Riot`s shooter VALORANT makes it on our list for October. With a new agent, new map and the first Riot-sponsored tournament happening, October has been a good month.
Ranked ninth is a game just in time for Halloween. Phasmophobia`s fresh take on the horror genre has led to burst of popularity towards the end of October.
GTA V secures seventh place for this month as it remains one of the most popular games to be streamed. Still waiting on news for GTA VI though.
Valve`s evergreen Counter-Strike makes it to sixth place in October. With plenty of competition around, the FPS is poised to keep its place as top dog of its genre.
FIFA 21 storms into the Top 5 during its release month. The newest entry into the franchise seems to be fixing lots of the issues players had with FIFA 20 so far.
Call of Duty continues to perform well even at the end of Modern Warfare`s lifecycle. Thanks to Warzone`s ongoing popularity, CoD secures fourth place.
Fortnite`s third place shows that the Battle Royale is still one of the most popular games in the world even if Epic Games, Apple and Google are butting heads.
Second place is secured by Among Us. The game of deduction continues to dominate Twitch as the developers turn their focus on improving the game even more.
Just as DAMWON`s victory in the Worlds 2020 finals heralds the return of Korea to the top of the LoL world, League of Legends storms back into first place.
