The Top 10 Most Popular Games on Twitch in August 2020

As September starts let us take a look back on the most popular games on Twitch in August. Which games were you watching?

August saw the release of Fall Guys taking the Twitch world by storm. But could they get that elusive crown? Here are the Top 10 compiled according to Watch Time by sullygnome.com

League of Legends manages to hold on to the throne over the entire month. The final stages of the Summer Split prove too strong to overcome for the other games.
Fall Guys – Ultimate Knockout storms to a massive second place in our monthly ranking. The Battle Royale a la Takesh\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Castle has become a global phenom.
Fortnite falls down to third place as Fall Guys was unstoppable. Not even the release of \\\\\\\"Nexus Wars\\\\\\\" at the end of August was enough to defend their second place.
Once more locking in fourth place is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. With a wild goose chase in Warzone Activision teased the next entry to the franchise, probably contributing to the high ranking once more.
Sneaking into the Top 5 GTA V snatches another top spot in August and continues to do well years after its launch
Dropping out of the Top 5 VALORANT is still going strong even if complaints about bugs or overpowered agents continue.
Just behind Riot\\\\\\\'s FPS, we find Valve\\\\\\\'s genre defining Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. With tournaments only happening online, CS:GO was unable to get past VALORANT this month.
Among Us has been among the surprises of the month. The mafia like indie game burst on to the Twitch world 2 years after release.
Dota 2 finds itself on ninth place for this month. Usually August would see The international catapult Dota 2 to the front but with the DPC in suspension, there was only the OMEGA League driving traffic.
