The most popular games on Twitch in April 2021

April has ended, so let’s take another look at the Twitch numbers as summer inches ever closer. The following list was compiled using sullygnome.com’s watch time metric.

Coming in at tenth EA´s popular football simulation makes its return to the top 10 of Twitch in April 21. Can it keep up next month?
Dota 2 checks in at ninth for April. The new Patch 7.29 has not only brought map, item and hero changes but also a brand new member for the cast. New hero Dawnbreaker has had a good reception so far.
Apex Legends` newest Legacy update has brought plenty of changes to the game. Not only does new legend Valkyrie enter the fray, Respawn Entertainment also introduced a new game mode in Arenas and more.
Valve´s tactical shooter remains stable at seventh. While the evergreen is currently struggling with a wave of cheaters, it remains one of the most popular games.
The ever-popular Minecraft finishes just out side the top 5 for this month.
Breaking into the top 5 VALORANT is still going strong. The new act 3 of Episode 2 introduced a new map to the game among other changes.
Epic Games´ Fortnite makes it all the way to fourth for the month. April also saw the launch of the Neymar Jr. collaboration in the Battle Royale.
The current kinf of the Battle Royale genre is Call of Duty Warzone. Sitting at third the fight continues in season 3 on a new map with plenty of other changes.
League of Legends takes the silver medal in April. New champion Gwen was not enough to overtake first, but with the Mid-Season Invitational coming up, numbers are certain to go up again.
GTA V keeps its hold on the throne of Twitch for another month. With Role-Playing trucking along as always GTA V is as popular as always.
