The best secondaries to use in Call of Duty: Vanguard

When constructing your loadout, secondaries are an incredibly important piece of the puzzle. Often times when caught reloading or when you are simply out of ammo for you primary, your secondary will become a crutch. Vanguard has several different types of sidearms, all with their own strengths and weaknesses and designed around specific play styles. Here are our picks for the best secondaries in Call of Duty Vanguard.

Ratt

As far as pistols go, the Ratt is top notched in Vanguard. It deals considerable damage while being a long ranged sidearm with little to no recoil after firing. The Ratt is not an automatic pistol, but can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger.

FS Fighting Knife

Knives are no stranger to Call of Duty, and the FS Fighting Knife has found its way into the Vanguard armory. In close range situations, the FS Fighting Knife will provide you increased speed and lethal up-close damage. During games such as Search and Destroy where you may have to clear distances quickly, this sidearm will be your best friend.

Machine Pistol

Another pistol to crack the list, the Machine Pistol is a rapid-fire option that can obliterate enemies up close. Due to its high recoil and low range, this is generally not a good option for distance gun fights. Though serving players only really in close quarters combat, this is definitely one of the most fun sidearms in the game.

Panzerfaust

One of the Bazooka’s featured in Vanguard, the Panzerfaust is not as good at taking down enemy spy planes and aerial threats as others, though can clear out players very easily. If you’re looking to create space, or annihilate enemies that are clustered together, the Panzerfaust is the right choice.
