The 5 best skins in VALORANT

VALORANT has released countless skin lines in the game’s relatively short lifespan. While many have been top notch, others haven’t lived up to the hype. Here are our picks for the top 5 best skins in VALORANT that you should grab the next time they appear in your Night Market.

Elderflame

Elderflame was one of the first, and the boldest, skin lines in VALORANT. Many of these bundles have some sort of theme that guides the design of their weapons. Elderflame turns your weapons into literal dragons that you shoot from. It is undoubtedly the most unique skin set in the game and offers some of the most humorous visual effects. The Vandal and Operator are two particular highlights in the bundle.

Prime 2.0

The Prime set is futuristic, sleek, and shiny. The set’s geometric designs give the weapons a very smooth feel as well as making them aesthetically pleasing. This one of my favorite skin sets to level up, as the designs only get better and brighter. For the Odin, this is by far the gun’s best skin.

BlastX

BlastX is another one of the more creative skin lines. Instead of going for an intimidating look, BlastX is pure fun. All the weapons in this kit resemble children’s toys, seemingly made of plastic with bight blue and green colors. The visual effect of ripping open wrapping paper to reveal the weapons only adds to the theme. If you’re not overly concerned with looking cool in-game 24/7, then this is the bundle for you.

Oni

Another one of the original skins, the Oni is still cool even a year later. even after countless other designs have emerged since, nothing has topped the Oni’s finishing animation. Along with this, the fully upgraded Phantom and knife are by far top of their class for their respective weapons. Oni is a classic, and you just can’t go wrong with a classic.

Gravitational Uranium Neuroblaster

If you like skins that follow a theme, then this is perhaps the best set out of them all. These guns look like they were taken directly out of an alien space ship and put into your hands. The Classic looks like the quintessential alien ray gun while the rest of the set manages to find ways to make the Bucky, Operator, Knife, and Specter all fit.
